1. No approved medical use

There is no accepted clinical use for 7-hydroxymitragynine or mitragynine, and we make no claims about effects, benefits or outcomes. Any vendor claiming these products treat pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, withdrawal from other substances or any other condition is making an unsupported and illegal claim.

2. Do not use these products if any of the following apply to you

• You are under 21 years of age.
• You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or nursing.
• You take any prescription medication. This includes – but is not limited to – MAOIs, SSRIs, SNRIs, benzodiazepines, opioids, blood thinners, antihypertensives, antidiabetics and anticonvulsants. Get explicit medical clearance first.
• You have a history of, or currently have: liver disorders, kidney impairment, cardiovascular disease, seizure disorders, or any chronic medical condition.
• You have a history of substance use disorder, or are currently in treatment for one.
• You have a history of mental illness.
• You are going to drive or operate machinery on the same day.

3. Never combine with these

• Alcohol. Never. Both are central nervous system depressants and the combination substantially increases risk of serious harm, including respiratory depression.
• Benzodiazepines, sleeping aids and other sedatives. Never.
• Opioid painkillers. Never.
• Other kratom alkaloid products. Do not stack products. Do not combine 7OH with mitragynine.
• Any stimulant or antidepressant without medical clearance.

4. Tolerance, dependence and withdrawal

Products containing 7-hydroxymitragynine and mitragynine can be habit forming, like caffeine and alcohol. Regular use produces tolerance, meaning the same amount stops producing the same effect. Sustained regular use can produce physical dependence, and stopping abruptly after dependence has developed can cause withdrawal symptoms including restlessness, anxiety, irritability, sweating, stomach upset, muscle aches and insomnia.

Do not increase your dose to chase an effect. Do not use daily. If you recognise signs of dependence in yourself, speak to a licensed healthcare professional and taper rather than stopping abruptly. See the dosage guide for the full discussion.

5. Serious adverse effects

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience: difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe dizziness or fainting, seizure, confusion or disorientation, severe nausea or vomiting, yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or any sudden and severe symptom after use. Show the packaging and this page to the treating clinician.
