7OH Dosage Guide: Milligrams, Tolerance and Responsible Use
How to think about 7OH dosing in milligrams, why the label strength is not the dose you feel, how tolerance builds, and how to taper sensibly.
Why “the dose” is a harder question than it sounds
People ask “what is the right dose of 7OH?” as if there were one answer. There is not. What you feel depends on your body weight, your prior tolerance, whether you have eaten, how you took it (sublingual versus swallowed), how long it has been since your last dose, and your own individual sensitivity. Two people can take the same 12mg tablet and have completely different experiences.
What we can do is explain the framework so you can make an informed decision with a professional, rather than guessing.
1. Milligrams are absolute. Effects are relative.
Our tablets are labelled by the exact milligram content of 7-hydroxymitragynine per tablet. That number is a chemical fact and it does not change. What changes is how much of it matters for you.
This is why the entire category uses milligram-labelled, pre-dosed products instead of loose powder: it removes the arithmetic from the moment of use. One tablet is one tablet.
2. The ladder – and why you start at the bottom
| Strength | Our product | Who it is appropriate for |
|---|---|---|
| 12mg | 12mg Mango Nano 100ct | Adults who are new to concentrated 7OH products, after professional advice |
| 18mg | 18mg Orange 100ct | People who have established tolerance at 12mg |
| 20mg | 20mg Fruit Punch Nanos | Experienced users only |
| 30mg | 30mg Grape Nano | Experienced users with established tolerance |
| 50mg | 50mg Cherry | High-tolerance experienced users only – not a starter product |
Notice the pattern: it moves in steps, and each step is a meaningful increase. Moving two rungs at once is a mistake, not a shortcut.
3. Never stack doses
The most common and most avoidable error. Someone takes a tablet, does not feel much after twenty minutes, takes another, and then the first one lands. Sublingual and oral absorption is not instant – the curve builds. Taking more “because it has not hit yet” is how a normal experience turns into an unpleasant one.
The safe rule: take one dose, then wait. If you feel nothing at all after a genuinely long interval – a matter of hours, not minutes – that is information for your next session, not a reason to add more now.
4. Tolerance builds, and it does not forgive
Regular use produces tolerance. The same milligram stops producing the same effect, and the instinct is to raise the number. That is a one-way road: the dose creeps up, the effect does not keep pace, and what you are actually maintaining is baseline, not benefit.
How to keep tolerance from running away
- Do not use daily. Spacing sessions out is the single most effective brake on tolerance.
- Cap your ceiling in advance. Decide the highest milligram you will allow yourself and treat it as a hard limit, not a target. Write it down.
- Do not chase the first experience. The first time is usually the strongest. It will not come back, and escalating to try to force it is how people end up in trouble.
- Take breaks. Days off, then weeks off. Familiarity breeds escalation.
- Track it. A written log of date, dose and effect is sobering reading after a month.
5. Taper instead of stopping cold
If you have been using regularly and want to stop, a gradual reduction is generally more manageable than an abrupt stop. Abrupt cessation after sustained regular use can produce withdrawal symptoms – restlessness, anxiety, sweating, stomach upset, irritability, sleep disruption – which are unpleasant and, for some people, genuinely hard to face alone.
Tapering is a medical decision. Talk to a licensed healthcare professional who knows your history before you change anything, and be honest with them about what you have been taking and how much.
6. Interactions and combinations – the hard no list
- Alcohol. Never. Both are CNS depressants and the combination compounds risk.
- Benzodiazepines and other sedatives. Never.
- Opioid painkillers. Never.
- MAOIs and SSRIs. Do not combine without explicit medical clearance.
- Any prescription medication. Get clearance first, every time.
- Driving or machinery. Do not, on any day you have used a 7OH product.
7. Storage, handling and hygiene
- Store sealed, dry, out of direct light, and at room temperature.
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets – always. Use a lockbox if there are children in the house.
- Wash your hands after handling powder.
- Never share a product with anyone under 21 or anyone who has not made their own informed decision.
- Check the batch and expiry information on the packaging before use.
8. Measuring powder properly
If you work with 7OH powder or mitragynine powder, a calibrated scale is not optional. Our 0.001g milligram scale includes a calibration weight, and it is the cheapest piece of safety equipment in this entire category. Eyeballing extract powder is the most common way people have a bad time.
9. When not to use 7OH at all
- Under 21 years of age.
- Pregnant, trying to conceive, or nursing.
- History of liver, kidney, heart or seizure disorders.
- History of substance use disorder, or current treatment for one.
- Taking any prescription medication without medical clearance.
- Operating vehicles or machinery the same day.
