Three strengths do most of the work in our 7OH tablet range: 12mg, 20mg and 30mg. They are also the three buyers ask about most. Here is a straight comparison.
Relative dose, not absolute
The number on the label is absolute – 20mg means 20mg. What matters for you is the relative jump between strengths:
- 12mg to 20mg is a 67% increase in dose
- 20mg to 30mg is a 50% increase
- 12mg to 30mg is a 150% increase
That is why we talk about moving one rung at a time. Going from 12mg straight to 30mg is more than doubling your intake, and there is no safe reason to do that.
Cost per milligram
| Product | Price | Tablets | Alkaloid per tablet | Approx. cost per mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12mg Mango 100ct | $100.00 | 100 | 12mg | ~8.3 cents |
| 18mg Orange 100ct | $100.00 | 100 | 18mg | ~5.6 cents |
| 20mg Fruit Punch | $43.75 | As listed | 20mg | Check listing |
| 30mg Grape Nano | $49.99 | As listed | 30mg | ~$2.00 per tablet |
Read that table with care. Cost per milligram is not the only consideration, but a product with fewer tablets at a higher unit price can look cheaper on the shelf while being far worse value. Our cost per milligram guide walks through the arithmetic.
Who each strength actually suits
12mg – the sensible starting point
Lowest strength in the range, and the one we point new buyers to. It is also the cheapest per tablet at 100ct, which makes it the best value way to begin. If you have never used concentrated 7OH, start here in the knowledge that you can step up on your next order rather than stepping down from a mistake.
20mg – a meaningful step
Roughly two-thirds stronger than 12mg. Appropriate for adults who have used 12mg consistently, understand how they respond, and want a deliberate increase. Not a starting point.
30mg – for established tolerance
Two and a half times the entry strength. This is an experienced-user product, and it is the point at which casual use starts to become a tolerance race. If you are considering 30mg, read how tolerance builds first and be honest with yourself about why you are moving up.
The question to ask before stepping up
Not “is the higher strength better?” but “has the lower strength stopped doing what I need, and if so, is that a signal to increase or a signal to take a break?“
Those are very different questions with very different answers. Tolerance is real, and escalating to chase an effect is the pattern that ends badly for people.
Buying across strengths
If you want to try more than one strength, the Dollar Trio 300ct is the cheapest per-tablet option we sell and works out well if you already know that 12mg is your baseline.
