Rule 1: Start at the lowest strength available
Not the best value, not the most popular, not the strongest. The lowest. Our 12mg nano tablets exist for exactly this reason. You can always step up on your next order; you cannot step down from a dose you have already taken.
Rule 2: Read the dosage guide first, not after
Our 7OH dosage guide covers tolerance, dependence, interactions and withdrawal. Read it before your first use. The people who get into difficulty almost always skipped this step.
Rule 3: Understand that this is not kratom leaf
Kratom leaf powder is used in grams. Concentrated 7OH is used in low milligrams. That is roughly a thousandfold difference in scale, and it is the most important thing to internalise. See what 7-hydroxymitragynine actually is.
Rule 4: One tablet per day maximum
Not one tablet, then another later because the first wore off. The label says a maximum, and it means it. Do not exceed it and do not stack doses.
Rule 5: Never take a second dose because “it has not kicked in yet”
Sublingual absorption builds over time rather than hitting instantly. Waiting twenty minutes and taking another tablet is the single most common cause of an unpleasant experience in this category. Take one dose. Wait. Live with the answer.
Rule 6: Never mix with alcohol or other depressants
No alcohol. No benzodiazepines. No opioid painkillers. No other CNS depressants of any kind. This is not a caution, it is a hard rule with serious consequences. See the health disclaimer.
Rule 7: Get medical clearance if you take any prescription medication
MAOIs, SSRIs, blood thinners, antihypertensives, anticonvulsants – all of them. Talk to a licensed healthcare professional and be honest about what you are planning to use.
Rule 8: Do not drive
Not on the day you use it, not “just down the road”. No driving, no machinery, no exceptions.
Rule 9: Accept that tolerance is real
Regular use produces tolerance and sustained use can produce dependence. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. See how tolerance builds and signs you should take a break.
Rule 10: Buy from someone who publishes lab results
Alkaloid content in kratom leaf varies enormously by season, region and cultivar. A vendor who presses tablets without assaying the input is guessing, and so are you. Ours are on the Lab Results page, matched to batch numbers.
How to take a 7OH tablet
- Place one tablet under the tongue.
- Let it dissolve fully. Do not chew or swallow it whole – that slows absorption and flattens the effect.
- Do not eat or drink for a few minutes afterwards.
- Do not take a second tablet.
- Do not drive or operate machinery for the rest of the day.
